I also have a puzzle addiction and I also spend a lot of time wondering whether it's healthy for me!! Once I start it's sooo hard to stop and I often shirk responsibilities. I do find it really helpful when I'm going through a really hard time and can't find the energy to do things. Also great for coping on a family vacation. Throw on some noise cancelling headphones and puzzle till it's over!

Yeah it is VERY good when I have anxiety to have something to focus on but it does make me worry how addicted I become so quickly! Still it feels healthier than a lot of habits!

I love jigsaw puzzles. I went through a stretch of years when I could not see well enough at puzzling range to actually find any pieces. Good lighting and magnifying glasses have made all the difference. So, now I can puzzle again in my late 60s. I hope my puzzling days end with my death on not due to diminished sight.

Yeah I have to flip on an extra light to puzzle, especially for the sections of solid colors! Also probably could not do this if I hadn't gotten progressives, so I hear you.
