Spoiler alert: I’m not sharing this playlist (yet IF EVER sorry)
Dear Readers,
I do not always write to music. I do not always require even the idea of music to write. A lot of this is because I write in various places and have had to get really flexible on “musts” because of this.
I am a TRULY FORTUNATE PERSON because I have the kind of job where I can use almost all of my lunch times for writing times, and many of my extracurriculars still involve me having a laptop either literally open in front of me or perhaps at arm’s reach. When people say things like “I can’t believe you’ve written all those books while having a full-time job,” I know that one reason that is true is because I do have these pockets of time when I can write!
Anyway this is ALL to say that sometimes I put music on to write, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I do and I’m like SHUT UP MUSIC and sometimes I don’t and I’m like IT IS TOO QUIET HERE. I somehow slot this stuff into my brain in a brand new place EVERY SINGLE TIME. I contain myriads.*
