I Went on Book Tour and All I Have to Show for It Is This Hat
Dear Readers,
Here’s what I learned on book tour:
I am too old* for a week-ish of couch sleeping, even when the couches are extremely nice.
Trains are still the easiest and most relaxing way to travel, but even they can be subject to strange and annoying delays.
After dragging my heavy-ass suitcase through all those carpeted sections of airports (WHY) where my bag didn’t feel much like rolling so much as being pulled to its own execution, I understand why people think it’s worth it to wait around at luggage carousels for their stuff.
Don’t forget to pack Advil. This is just small-time amateur-hour nonsense!
Ask locals where to eat. You already know this but it gets doubled down as a guiding principle the more and more delicious meals you have.
